About Fujitsu Homebush
Efficiently connect your business to your datacentre and cloud on the dark fibre network Nexthop builds, owns and operates.
Fujitsu is one of the world's leading providers of data centre services, operating more than 140 premium facilities globally. In Australia, Fujitsu manages six strategically located data centres across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Perth, delivering highly secure, resilient, and scalable environments for critical infrastructure. Fujitsu was the first Australian provider to obtain NABERS certification across all of its facilities, recognised as achieving energy efficiencies 33% higher than the industry average.
The Fujitsu Homebush Data Centre, located at 4 Figtree Drive in Sydney Olympic Park, is a well-established facility situated approximately 14 kilometres from the Sydney CBD. The facility spans 2,600 square metres across three data halls, with 6MW of available power capacity, providing a robust and reliable environment for mission-critical workloads. Originally built in 1988 and refurbished in 2007 and 2010, the facility combines proven infrastructure with modern upgrades to deliver continuous availability.
Nexthop proudly partners with Fujitsu to provide dark fibre services for mission-critical enterprise and wholesale customers' traffic flow. Dark fibre, in its "dark" state, offers unparalleled flexibility, allowing data centre tenants to configure circuits, transmission technologies and select end-devices. This empowers Fujitsu's clients to customise their connectivity solutions and upgrade them as needed.
Nexthop's dark fibre infrastructure acts as a high-speed expressway, facilitating low-latency, reliable connectivity between datacentres and clients' premises. Whether you're transmitting high-priority traffic or accessing critical access points, Nexthop's dark fibre ensures you stay ahead in the digital landscape.
